New Home for Beautiful boys!

Hello, I am a very newbie! I am looking for help in finding a loving, caring home for two beautiful Silver Laced Wynadotte cockerels. Their owner sadly died and my daughter took them in to live with her two girls. However, neighbour does not like them and keeps complaining.

They are so gorgeous, 11 months old, brothers called Bernard and Bill, vaccinated, wormed and in very good health.

Does anyone know of anywhere where they will be loved and cared for. My daughter feels terrible having taken them in and now has to rehome them. We would be prepared to take them to a new home, preferably in the North West, but anywhere would be o.k.

Hello Joejack and welcome to the forum. It is always difficult rehoming cockerels and sometimes you just get lucky as we did with two Welsummers which were dumped by someone on wasteland near us. You have to be aware that some people will just take them and eat them and some will put them into illegal cock-fighting rings. So you need to check out their new home carefully. All the best.

Thank you for your advice. We will be very careful where, if anywhere! we can find a home for the boys. A lady in a pet shop said "just take them to the local farm market and they will be bought". I didn't realise people would do such an awful thing, eating people's pets, disgusting.

I am going to try another petting farm I have been told about today, and will just keep trying.
