We have happily used a large Brinsea plastic coop since 2012. The nest trays slot in at the back, so are a specific size and shape. I really don't know what our girls have been up to recently but one nest tray has snapped in two and the other is cracked!!
Unfortunately the Brinsea Coop is no longer made --- and I can't find spares in the net. Does anyone out there have spares? Or has had this problem and come up with a solution?
