My friends sister put a large blue/green egg under a broody hen this is the result, has anyone got an idea of what it will turn into ? I haven't a clue

No idea, but lovely Mum, lovely chick! Mum looks super healthy, judging by her face pigment. All those lovely blue feathers as well, thanks for posting!

Mum looks very surprised! Maybe she's wondering which side of the family this one takes after??

Adorable photo. ?
I don't know anything much about breeds, but when I googled it, Cream Legbar showed up, along with a blue green egg link yo eBay!

Thanks Tweetypie, I will let her know.
Mum looks like our Bluebelle the one who is known as Darth Vader, although as she approaches 7 years old she has mellowed somewhat

My bluebell, aka Miss Muffet, is a gentle hen. She's the most timid and does the least digging. I love the colour of her feathers. She produces a cream coloured egg.

We had three Bluebelles originally, and our one remaining bird was firmly bottom of the pecking order amongst all the hens, and she gradually got braver and fought her way to the top and then really honed her "Darth Vader" technique, but she does have character, her real name is Misty, I must look out a picture of her

Yep. Without boring for Britain the pronounced down colour on its head and eye stripe suggest a wild type plumage as is found in Welsummers, Silver Grey Dorkings and Cream Legbars. As she hatched from a blue/green egg then her mother was probably a Legbar but her father could be anything. Some of my most interesting hens have, over the years, come from accidental matings. The most noticeable was the result of Silver Columbian Wyandotte x Blue Silver Duckwing Welsummer. The pullet grew up to be a Blue Silver Quail (as the colour is called in chickens) hen but I was unable to perpetuate her colour..
