Today,I collected 3 Aylesbury ducklings, well, the 1 is predominantly black so not a pure alyelsbury. They are really cute(as well as messy)and seem to be settling in well.

I have 2 aylesbury type Lydia - I say type because they have orange beaks so not pure. They are so delightful - really friendly and chatty. They always come waddling up,heads bobbing up and down - with their 2 muscovy frends who aren't as friendly - they just come along for the ride  They are incredibly messy though and tread the grass down so beware. I suppose it is the size of their feet and the constant activity that does it.

You will really enjoy them -I love them to bits - but then I love all my menagerie to bits

Sorry to hear that Tophen,it is horrid to lose any :( ,and foxes are a real menace.

Eww Foxes, Im lucky to say we dont have that problem here in the State of Iowa... We do however have those nasty little Weasels! Lost nearly 100 chickens and 15 Ducks and a handful of Turkey Chicks the 1st year we moved up here... Sad  We now know better!
