08 I went to Philcotts this morning and collected 10 fertile eggs for my girl . I have Wellbar and Wybar . She is sitting tight so fingers crossed for a good hatch rate.

mine are due to hatch this weekend but i am paranoid that they wont :lol: talk about getting nervous , and i dont know wether to put a bit of straw in my houses or leave them with paper and fluffy shavings the ones i got are really nice and completley dust free what really is best . i took the risk of moving mum and eggs into that home made little coop as its pretty much ground level{ and fits nicley as a broody house for little bantams } where as the before she was in the coop with attached run that was high of the ground and i was reading different sites and then made myself sick with worry that they might full out and get killed so

05 but no chance of that , the only thing that worries me with the straw is any red mites hiding in it as one of my houses did have them but the new spray soon sorted that out but that again is just me being paranoid .i have had a few people say not to brood but its very hard to say no and i have 2 other bantams which have gone broody but 6 eggs is enough to deal with maybe next year i might do 12 as in time i only want bantams anyway but i need to let all my big girls go first and that might be a few years away yet the rate they are all going at 07 ohhhhhh i cant wait
