Sounds like most of you had a lovely Christmas ( karloben I'm sure 2011 is going to be a better year for you!)
elmwood- your homemade pressies sound fantastic, something anyone would be pleased to receive! My mum had some lovely (and inexpensive) gifts from her sisters- one made home grown pickled onions and chutneys and another filled two pretty pots with tete a tete daffs, put them in a container and surrounded them with greenery from the garden and gold sprayed hydranga heads- they were beautiful!
I bought my 11 year old daughter pliers, wires and beading bits and pieces and she's been busy making earrings, bracelets and necklaces since Christmas day- so I'll be getting homemade bespoke jewelery for my birthday
