Lump on wattle.

Dear all, I would be grateful if someone could shed light on the lump that is on my new hampshires wattle. It's on one side only and is solid to touch.

Is it a tick Chris? Or perhaps an ingrowing feather? Or a peck that has bled internally? Certainly doesn't look serious at the moment. You need a magnifying glass on it I think.

I'm really not sure. She seems perfectly happy. ill just keep an eye on it.

My best guess from the photo would be a blood blister caused by a peck or similar

At least you have a nice clear photo to compare any changes with.
