This is one for bigyetiman. From today's Guardian Brief Letters.

• "Seen on a roundabout in St Albans, on the back of one of those big, boxy mobility minibuses: “No old ladies are left in this bus overnight”

Brilliant, I think I will ask my boss to get that put on our buses. Shouldn't it be "old people" in these days of gender neutrality etc
After bus passes and phones the most common things left on our buses are bunches of bananas, school lunch boxes, walking sticks. currently we have 3 pushchairs in lost property unclaimed, how you forget those when you have a small person in tow I don't know. Oddest things, a polystyrene head with wig on, coffin (theatrical prop, allegedly), false leg, a roll of artificial grass. A large box of Viagra ( think he needed memory pills more  ) large bag of goods from Ann Summers. I am sure more will come to mind. The only one of the odd items claimed was the coffin and the Ann Summers goods, the lady was somewhat sheepish when she picked that bag up
