my pet duck hurt her leg/foot when she was wedged between conservatory and fence....it looks like the ankle part of the leg/foot is very swolen...apart from rest which is difficult any other advice please?

Hi Dale and welcome 
If there is no blood/skin broken, then i would just keep her confined if you can to a smaller area and try to let her rest it- you need to see how it goes- if it's broken or gets any worse you will need a trip to the vets but see if the swelling goes down after a day or two of rest. Took duck to vets this morning badly swollen ankle....injection administered and medication prescribed...plenty of rest advised...easier said than done, as her mate is looking for her and vice versa.
