Juno's first egg

Juno has presented her first egg!
It was an absolute whopper, and the lovely elongated shape is like my two first Croad girls gave me. None of the desirable plum blush nonsense for her, good old mid brown.
I feel like doing an enormous whoopee and I don't know why. The Anconas have started laying, both of my Cream Legbars girls as well but the longed for Croad eggs seemed such a long time coming, now only leaves the fat, lazy speckled Sussex to get going.
Is Spring really in the air?

As regards Spring well yes, we've got bulbs out and the big prumus tree flowering like mad. I'd just like this rain to stop.
