HI,

We have loads of Chickens and hatched some great chick this year with my new r-com suro incy.

Rather than our home grown lamb we thought it could be nice to have a home grown turkey for Christmas.

Is it to late to hatch some now for them to grown big enough for Christmas?

Any help would be great including were to get some hatching eggs.

Thanks,

Greenhen

Hello, yes, in a word :( - sorry they would be far too small- you need to hatch by June at the latest for decent size birds by Xmas.
regards, David :)

Thanks so much,

Maybe we should plan for Easter - When would we need to hatch them by?

Thanks so much,

I'd say April is a good time to hatch some Turkey eggs but remember to pre-order the higher protein food you need as most places don't stock it as standard ;)
