Is everyone ok?

Hi Marigold.
I hope Poppy is now scampering around heaven, fit & agile again... I'm sorry for your sadness in having to say goodbye to her but glad to hear that Pippin will be coming to keep you both company.

Thank you, Mark and Ruth, and Margaid, for your kind messages. It would be lovely if we could get together again one day, and you could meet Pippin as well. If you, or anyone on here, is ever near to Whitchurch in Hampshire, do please message me. You’d all be very welcome.
We would love to. But we wouldn't bring the torrential rain like last time?️

I remember that lovely photo you posted on the forum of a mud covered Poppy in the kitchen with a look on her face which said "one minute I was clean, and all of a sudden I was covered in dirt, I don't know how it happened, honest"

I hadn't seen the one on the right, but I've always loved the on on the left. Similar fun to be had with Pippin no doubt!

Oh, isn't she gorgeous! I wasn't familiar with Norfolk terriers- your pic was the only one I'd seen. They're beautiful little dogs, aren't they?

I had forgotten about the doorframe incident, she just looks so innocent and adorable in both of them.

You have such special memories to look back on

Tomorrow's the big day, Marigold- when you bring little Pippin home? We look forward to seeing pics.

Yes - we’re staying at our daughter’s house near Lichfield tonight, to collect him tomorrow morning.
It’s been really funny, telling friends and neighbours about us getting a puppy. They divide into two camps - those who are enthusiastic and say things like ‘Lucky you! When can I see him?’
And those who look incredulous and say ‘Really? Oh dear - I wouldn’t want to go through all that again!”

Ah well, it shows which ones are the true animal lovers ?
My elderly cat has just got me up for the third time so it isn't just the young ones. I thought I might have the compensation of seeing the comet but there#s too much cloud. ☹️

Everyone was like that with our neighbour who is 80 when she got Poppy last year a Border terrier, definitely two camps.

same here with the comet, cloudy, every time there is a celestial event, it turns cloudy here.
