Thank you Margaid. My husband had monofocal Abbot ones and he doesnt have problems with halos, cling film effects or light sensitivity either. I should have listened to him, instead of letting them talk me into "needing trifocals to be completely spectacle free." I still required them for computer work....?

Just to say, my Mum has inflammation at the back of her eye, which is causing the soreness and irritation. She has been given some ABs and has to go back next week. Good luck Tweetypie
