During the last couple of hours (during Dr. Who and Over the Rainbow) one of my lovelies has laid a perfectly formed egg without a shell - quite a little beauty it is.
I've had them before, but not from my Pekins, and certainly not so perfect, but all mashed up and squashed. I'm supposing you throw them away, but I was just wondering whether it could actually be poached for brekkie?

I give mine to the dog - but there's no shortage of eggs here :D

They won't keep without the shell and bloom - but as long as it's still in the membrane, you should be fine for breakfast.
