introducing newly hatched to mothering hens

Hi everyone.

Although I've had chickens for a year now, im still a newbie.

Admitted I have become addicted to hatching eggs....think I better buy a biggar home with a LARGE garden haha.

Anyway I was wondering If a silkie is mothering 1 or 2 week old chicks would it be possible to introduce newly hatched chicks to her and would she mother them?

Hi, no , she will kill them- so please don't put them in with her and her chicks.
