I live on Shropshire/Cheshire border and I am just starting out in the world of poultry keeping.
My partner and I have decided to have some Dorkings (either Dark or Red depending on which colour we can get) as these lovely birds need all the support they can get if the breed is to survive.
And on a more pratical basis a couple of hybrids that will suppply a couple of eggs a week.
I will probably be on here all the time asking what some will think are silly questions, so you have been warned
i look forward to the help and advice I'm sure is on here.

Hi Alpasha

I'll look forward to your questions as I'm a total novice too and it'll probably save me asking ;) Be prepared to be like a new parent when your hens arrive. I look at things they do all the time and wonder if that's just what chickens do or if it means that there's something wrong with them. Members of this forum or really friendly and helpful. Hope you enjoy being a part of it.
