I'm enjoying having chooks on my Lottie and am thinking of geese or quail soon. The birds are lovely both on and off the plate :lol: 04

Currently - 1 Buff Orp Cock and a couple of Black Rock hens, plus a few muts who's population varies with time and my apetite 17

Ohhhhhhh ..... so veerrry nearly. But the chicks were either Duck or chook, and I'm just about to incubate (Setting on Sat) so I gathered ALLLL my willpower and resisted 09 0

There was a nice couple of Chinese geese, but a lot of interest. It was worth the 35 min drive though. 17 There were some realy beautiful birds there. All kinds of Orps and Rodes, Sussex and... and .... 07

Have you ever noticed how hard it is not to bid for something when the guys saying stuff like "2 can I hear 3 ? No ? That's 2 for the loveley Silkies in the corner... going once ....." lol 11
