My poor poor willis!!! He's sooooo sick! Its my first time keeping turkeys and my buddy has been lonely since his pretty gf was quite rudely eaten by the foxes. Its been super ridiculously hot here. Very humid too. I came home from work to find all of my birds crazy sick. They were fine in the am. My turkey boy is suddenly underweight, so sick he can't gobble and just kinda hanging around. Not like him. What can I do? Not vets in the entire area that take care of poultry. Like at all! Ugh. My roo was so sick he couldn't even crow!!!! This morning he was happily crowing his head off. Not so much for my poor Willis. HE was just trolling with some treats though. Haven't heard that in a few days.
