Help!

Got up this morning to let the girls out and Ginger one of our strongest has died she had no signs of illness and we found her stiff on the floor. I'm now in panic mode for the rest of my girls what should I do?

They all seem happy pecking away. Any advice is welcome

Unfortunately it just happens even though they look healthy. In these circumstances, I wouldn't worry about the rest.

Sorry fpr your loss.

so sorry for your loss.
could have been a heart attack, it happened to one of my hens some years ago, such a shock, she was a healthy beauty, but i just found her, dead, lying on her side

Sorry must have been a sad shock for you... echo the comments above..

Thanks guys it was really sad :( we thanked her for the eggys and buried her at the bottom of the garden.

this does happen when i first got my girls without ever even holding a bird in my life i got 14 ex batts thinking it was easy keeping chickens { i was wrong } 1 died over night and i found her in the morning it was a big big shock and i cried down the phone to my farmer friend who said she more then likely had a heartattack and then bluntly said to me ' welcome to the world of keeping livestock ' get used to it . after 3 years or 4 cant remeber  i'm still not used to it one of my little bantams did it to me the other week :( but with her it might of been her age { she was over 3 } and the fact that she only ever laided soft shells it must of been her as my other 3 lay very good solid eggs and havent had a soft shell since she has been gone .

You guys have helped so much :) the others are doing fine had a egg since We do have one cook that's being bullied by the others her comb was purple but we have been making sure she gets treats and stuff and now it's a light pink :D so she's getting better. How can I make the run better for her? She's normally bullied into staying in the coop should we put more hidey holes for her we put a perch in for her and she is always on it when the peck at her.

you can add perches around the run , even tree stumps if you can get hold of any also hang up vegs like cabages , marrows omggg the girls would love that as they hollow it out from the bottom up its a great boredom breaker . i am thinking about adding some parrot toys when i can afford it  just use your imagination hehehe cant spell that :-)04

We have built a really high table. With ladders and perches and they seem to like it we are going to extend there run and add bushes and stuff
