Hi, I am new to the forum and due to go away tomorrow. My neighbours lent me a Covotutto 7 incubator, but I have just found out they have gone away! I have managed to find some instructions for some hatching eggs I put in today but does it need any water in the central well i.e. where the eggs are? :? I have spent ages looking it up on the net and some places say you should add tepid water and some say its not necessary at this time of year. I would be grateful for advice asap before I go away? My other neighbour is turning the eggs each day!

I had this incubator you have to put water in 1&2 compartment(located just under the lid, small square thingy)not were the eggs are.I must say it is not very reliable as mine had failed -blown lightbulb and afterwoods thermost stoped working and eggs got coked,so be very carefull and monitor very closely.Good luck:D

:-)99 :-)99 Hi, welcome to the forum :-)99 :-)99 ,
I always have one compartment of water, its like the hens natural moisture :) , but some people prefer to run theirs dry. I think its essential to add some water in the last two days to aid hatching, but obviously its your choice :D
