HELP. Brown/bloody blob handing out of a chicks bottom

We have just hatched some lavender pekins and one of them who hatched about a couple of hours ago has a brown/ bloody blob hanging out of its bottom. I have not seen this before. Please can someone help ASAP and give me some advice.

Can't say I have seen anything like you describe and from the sound of you, you know it's not the umbilicus. Sorry.
