Hello Everyone
When I was trawling the internet for everything I needed to know about chickens this site kept popping up with lots of helpful information and advice, so thank you!
Three weeks ago we got our first chickens, they are 12 weeks old now, I would post a picture if they would ever stand still for long enough to take a photo that is actually in focus!
We have seven chickens - 2 double-laced barnevelders, a cream legbar, a silver spangled appenzeller spitzhauben, a silver kraienkoppe, a lavender Pekin and a buff Pekin. They are all so different but all love to pile up and sit in the sun together.
I've got loads of questions, I hope you don't mind!

Hello Daisychain7 and welcome to the forum. We bought our Transylvanian Naked Neck cockerel from a chap called Brian Sands, who lives East of Boston Lincs. We had a look around his vast setup and he had Kraienkoppe and was looking for some new stock to start breeding again. Prior to that I had never heard of them.

I have the same problem with photos.

Evening all.
Thank you Chris and Marigold for the welcome.
I hope they are all girls Marigold! At 12 weeks wouldn't they be showing signs of being cockerels by now? Oh well, at least we know the cream legbar is a girl!
I tried to take a few more photos today but they are put to shame by Geckodan's amazing pictures! And I am a tiny bit worried you might tell me some don't look very girly!
Zoe
