Hi all, my name is Jane Allman, i have been keeping poultry all my life, and have been seriously showing and breeding Orpingtons both large and Bantam for the past 7 years. I'm 41 (yesterday!) I also have various dogs, cats and have ridden horses since i could walk!
Just recently, a few of you might have heard my husband and i have won our battle with the orpington club, and have been pushing for the re-standardisation of the Jubilee, Spangled and Cuckoo Orpington, which is due up for Poultry Club consideration early next year.
I hope to have good chats with you all in the future! :-)17

Hello Jane and welcome aboard! :-)99

I just love your spangleds, and congratulations on your campaign btw! :-)08 :-)08

Thank you very much Foxy!
We won our first BIS last weekend at Barnsley, with a large white Orpington no less! Speaking to Will Burdett, he said he can't remember the last time someone got a BIS with a white orp, so that was a bit of a shock! :o
Our Spangleds are doing really well this year, i have some cracking females out, and the male we have kept is looking good! They will be at the National. :-)99

Hello (again ;-) )

Great to see you on the forum and excellent news about the Orps. If you have some at the National, bring them over to the corner next to Championship row and we'll get some nice photos of them for the site.
