Hello from Mid Wales

Hello fellow poultry people. I'm new to the forum. I've been keeping chickens (occasionally ducks & quail) in Mid Wales for nearly 20 years. I started with Cream Legbars & they are still the core of my flock, I hatch my own replacements. I currently also have Exchequer Leghorns, hatched last year and Burford Browns, floor layers that I bought from a local commercial free range unit. I have had Marans of various types for many years too but my last elderly one was dispatched at the end of last season.
I had a perplexing problem with a batch of chicks last year that I will post on the health bit for peoples' thoughts.
