Hello everyone, I'm Nacarona

I have being feeding wild Mallard ducks in my backyard for several years. My current duck is a male Mallard/Grey duck hybrid called Wac Wac. He is very tame and is comfortable eating from my hand. He comes to my backyard every morning and afternoon to be fed and always bobs his head up and down excitedly when he sees me. Here he is:

Hello Nacarona and welcome to the forum. We had a female Mallard rescued as a 2 day shivering chick who we called 'Lucky Duck". She flew at just 10 weeks which was amazing to see (a few crash landings)!

I would love to have a duckling. Wac Wac has had ducklings with his old mate Pike (who has passed away ) but they never came to my backyard. Recently he has found a new mate. I am looking forward to getting to know her although I'm not sure if she will come back because my free running rabbit chased her around the backyard!
