We have 4 white turkeys, one male and 3 females (we think). We had them at about 2 weeks old and although they have grown a little they still seem very small - our chickens are bigger than them. Is this normal? They are eating and drinking and seem healthy and happy. They are now 3 months old.

Hi, what are you feeding them? You really need to feed the turkey grower pellets- higher in protein than chicken pellets- they should be a good size by now- are they pets or for the freezer  ?
regards, David :)

Hi Davidd, We live in Crete and you don't get the option of grower pellets etc. for chickens or any other poultry. We can buy bags of wheat and crushed corn. I put both out as well as any cooked kitchen scraps. They eat all of these things. They had a lovely time with water melons yesterday. They are outside and have a huge area of land to 'graze' on as well. They are going to be for the oven eventually, but we would like to breed from them first. :?
