Got my new incy today !! Got to call it that as now I am part of the Incy Brigade it isn't cool to call it an incubator any more :lol: Hmm! got to face this ' hope I don't get too many cockerels' thing now! I think it is a case of "welcome to the club"

Yes the spring is "Oh Wow these Chicks are so Cool", the Summer is "Oh no, lots of Cockerels" and the autumn is "Oh I wish I could rehome some of them ... gulp" and the winter is "Mmm wish it was Spring, now what am I going to hatch!"

Yes Tim, I can imagine that will be very true. I got a Brinsea octagon 20 auto ex. It is bigger than I need but who knows where this will take me - so better to get a bigger one incase :shock: :lol: I thought I would go for the fully automatic now one rather than wish I had done in a few months time.

Hi Anne,

Congrats!! Hope you have great fun and success with your new incy. I got an octagon 20 advance last year and the whole process of hatching eggs is absolutely fascinating. Unfortunately though (for the rest of the family) it has spurred me into more breeding - more chicken runs - more hen houses ooooh I need help!!!
