Was wondering, is it worth compiling a few FAQ's and writing them up in their respective sections for people. Make them sticky topics and then rather than having people post numerous new threads on the same thing over and over, we have one ongoing topic for the often asked things. We can then amend the first post FAQ as needed and reply in the thread to any more questions asked.

Was thinking for topics like

How to break a broody hen - tips and advice

ACV - What is it, why give and how much

Worming - Options and when etc

Red mite - Pics of it, how to treat it and keep them at bay

And maybe a few others.

I am suggesting this as I don't know about anyone else, but I do get a bit tired of repeating myself over and over in posts on the same sort of subject matter. I think sticky topics on frequently asked questions might help this and also make for easier searching when using the search function etc.

Sounds like a cunning plan!

Some of the articles on the main site cover some of these topics already but I think it would be a good idea to do this and provide a link to the article at the same time as additional information.. often people will look on the forum and not the PK site and vice versa or not search at all - so they would be more likely to see a sticky.

I know what you mean about repeating yourself. It's always nice to help people but it would be easier to have the general FAQ stuff covered. ;)
