Funny Flock Stories

The other day I went outside and I heard chickens screaming and saw my younger brother chasing one chicken around the coop. I immediately freaked out and asked him where the other chickens were and he had stuffed them all in the coop so that he could watch them all run out at the same time!
 
Sorry Farrah, but your brother terrorising your chickens is not remotely funny. Chickens are very sensitive to stress & this kind of behaviour is likely at best to stop them ftom laying & at worst to make them vulnerable to serious illness.

I'd suggest brother- proofing your coop and run.

lol yes! he was talked to after the fact, but looking back it is just funny how boys are. he was not aggressive with them and they are used to the coop of course so it wasn't super stressful for them because they are used to kids and being picked up. :)
