Please could everybody be sure to read the post in the Welcome and Membership section at the top of the Board Index?
This is really important if we want our forum to keep going, thanks to the time-consuming work that Tim puts on on our behalf.
Thank you. :D

Pretty sure I had renewed, but sent a donation anyway. As you say, compared to the cost of a weekly magazine, it's nothing.

Thank you, LadyA. If you’re not seeing advertisements, and it says Full Member by your avatar, then you did remember to renew when reminded last time.
If you click on Members in the top row of the Home pages, Full Members are listed as The Team.

According to Tim, I renewed in July, but another little donation will help offset the costs.

Done! No idea when I'm due to renew but I don't really care. This Forum has been a life saver for me over the past several years even though I'm chicken-less. Don't let it fail through lack of funding please, pretty please!

Just done mine, completely forgot. I have met some lovely people in person through the forum, and equally lovely chats with others

Update from Tim, with thanks for your cooperation and contributions! It seems we are now a few pence in credit! He says;

“ I have worked out the new total.

9 full members (and some paid a second time this year) and we now have $219.35 plus $57.25 in Google Ads - Total $276.60
The hosting and registration fee total is $275.34 so we've covered the bill :-)
The bill for hosting varies a little (it depends on the resources we use) but then the Google ads also vary so it's hard to say what we would need next year.

Yes, fundraising at the end of the year seems to be logical.

These days it seems forums are a thing of the past, with most people choosing Facebook groups instead but it's good to hear the forum is still useful to a lot of people. I understand it's developed into something special for some and I only wish I had a little more time these days to drop in a bit more.

Anyway, thanks again for your support.
Tim

That's good news. We don't do Facebook so the Forum fits the bill. I will make a note in my diary about membership renewal for next year.
Very good value for money.

I don't do Facebook either, I much prefer smaller, more intimate websites to displaying my washing to millions of people.
I do Facebook, but all my "friends " are either family, friends I actually know or (quite a lot, actually) former members of the old Practical Poultry forum. I have my "friends " list hidden, and my posts can't be seen by all & sundry - and nobody but myself can post anything on my page.
