Flubenvet query

I have just purchased some Marriages layers pellets with Flubenvet to worn my hens, but my question is can I just swap their food over from one day feeding their normal pellets (not Marriages) to the next day feeding them just the pellets with Flubenvet? I thought you had to change food over gradually to avoid upsetting their digestion. Then after the 7 days of feeding the Marriages, just swap straight back to their normal pellets?

I think you need to do the quick swop otherwise they will be getting only part dose for however many days you feed both. Part dosing may mean you will not get the effect from the drug you are looking for and it can also lead to the development of resistance to the drugs, antibiotics in particular.
I think less harm comes from swopping one layers pellet for another than changing suddenly from pellets/mash to whole grain.

Yes just change them over next day, mine didn't particually like them for the first day or two but soon started eating them, it is a great way of worming the birds, no measuring and no mess
