fell in love at the auction.......

We went to the local poultry auction on Sunday as it was a breed sale..... and fell totally in love

They are a very sweet trio of Salmon Faverolles..... So eversuffering got them for me as an early birthday present....and they are now in a spare dog cage in the spare bedroom as they are only seven weeks old and the weather is just not nice...

I am so hoping the cockerel behaves and isn't to noisy as we have neighbours

The cockerels have a pleasant deep crow I find.

Brilliant, my wife said she would have bought them too. (which is why we don't go to auctions :lol: )

I love this breed too.I can't rememer that mine had so long legs!They look very tall already

We go to auctions but make sure we don't take any money for the same reason as Dinosaw.

mmmmm am thinking they may have ostrich genes :mrgreen:

They are growing into really friendly birds and follow me when I go into the run. They are still residing in the spare bedroom at night for now, as we really need to get a bigger coop sorted.
