Excuse the blurring but my girls go CRAZY when they get their greens.
Even holding it at head height trying to tie them on they got berserk flying up to savage the veggies.

Genuinely fear for my life, its like Jurassic park! (Slight exaggeration )

Assume they all do this or are mine a little crazy?

Yeah I string it up about 2ft as the bedding gives them a soft landing . Pecking order vanishes too!

My patent for hanging wegetables for chickens is to screw the screw(non rusting one)and bit of a cotton string tighten just under the top of a screw.From the roof I have permament string with an carabiner clip ( like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250864144742?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 ) and when I enter the run just hung this on the clip and the rest is up to them.if sound complicated I can make the picture how it is working.I hang this way cabadges,carrots,sweetcorn even pumpkin.The wegetables always clen and never get troden on.
