feeding ducks and geese fruit

We have 6 ducks and 4 geese, all youngsters. We live in Crete and they are house along with 40 chickens and 4 turkeys (again quite young). I have been told that all of our birds can eat avoacdo but that I need to remove the skins and the stones. Is this right? We have 25 avocado trees so if we can supplement their diets with the fruits that would be great. :? We also have orange trees and olive trees - can they eat them too? Is it different for each type?

Hi, i don't know about advocado ( i think it will be fine if ripe) but i know my granny used to feed her geese oranges- they loved them

okay thanks. The trouble is some places say fine and others say not so I will err on the side of caution from now on with the avacado - shame as we have hundreds in the winter months and they did love them! Hope I have not damaged them already!
