EGG SIZE

I have a pair of large lavender araucana the pullet I hatched from eggs last year ,she has been in lay for a month now but her eggs are still only bantam size she was hatched from decent size eggs and is on show and breeders pellets ,do you think they will increase in size now or is that it ?

i'm sure they will increase in size,a month isn't very long at all,it does take a while.My ex-batts are now laying a really large size egg,it happens very gradually,but now an egg box in extra large size won't close with 6 of their eggs in.I got them last september,they haven't had a rest from laying and the egg size has definitely nearly doubled.

It takes a while for the egg size to develop. I wouldn;t worry, my legbars have just started to lay and they are smaller than my pekin eggs!
