Ive used eBay over the years with varying degrees of success. No complaints though because I know that the vagaries of the postal system can have deleterious effects on hatchability. However it is quite common for vendors to say, for example, that they run two cocks with ten hens. It has been my experience that doing such a thing results in a blood bath even if the cocks are brothers. In fact I once had three Leghorn cockerels with no hens who decided to rip into each other when only seventeen weeks old.

11 I would divvy up the hens so each cockeral had his own harem, and then site them out of sight of each other! Although I have had a pen of adolescent males growing up together with no bother, up to around 20 weeks, even with their sister in with them. Perhaps that was luck and/or the fact they were a particularly dopey/docile and late maturing breed and group.
