Hi, my geese are in an orchard the top end has large bramley trees and the lower end has smaller lower trees.Am I correct in thinking the geese will strip the lower branches if I let them anywhere near them.

Thanks Graham

Hi,
Yes they will :-)06 , and a good job they will do too, basically anything they can get beaks around they will nibble, I have had to put netting around my young fruit trees, to save them from being totally destroyed, they took most of the lower branches off the trees before I got them protected. Still small price to pay, as I love seeing my geese free ranging in the orchard :D :D :D .
Regards
Sue

Hi,I guess I will have to circle these trees with stock fencing, thanks for the advice.

Graham.
