Ducks laying in winter

Hi, Someone has asked me for ducks eggs but expected to have a supply through winter as well. The ducks I have stop laying in October and don't lay another egg until March. Don't know about the Khakis as we have only just had them. Is there a duck which will lay a few in winter, or can I persuade mine to oblige or are eggs off the menu?

Hi, yvonne i keep khakis and they lay for most of the winter, i also have cherry valley ducks and they lay nearly all year too. hope this helps.

Thank you. That was very useful.

Need to find some now. I live in Warwickshire and seem to find it hard to find anyone around here. The same thing happened when I was looking for the geese. I am still looking for a gander. Hoping, maybe, he will stop them getting into trouble. It is like having 3 more kids!
