Blimey and I moan about my 30 minutes.... I put most of the boys together gradually and then have pens for Geese, Ducks and Chooks all mixed.

The problem starts when I want breed some L.F early in the year - my Light Sussex have started to lay now so I've taken them out ready to incubate in a few weeks much to the pleasure of my Light Sussex lad who is giving them lots of attention and waking me up on a regular timetable at 5am without fail!

Ahh the joys of poultry ;)
 
wish I had found that tip a few weeks earlier! Will bear that in mind for the next big freeze that we get :)
