I used to know this but have entirely forgotten. How do you call up those signs for male and female? (That’s the circle with the arrow for male and the circle with with the plus sign for female).
I’m amazed that the vast list of smileys that are now available do not include these oft used symbols.

Just find the symbol anywhere online or from another document Hen Gen - Cut and paste (may need to change the font and size afterwards.) There are ways, key combos, character tables etc. but good old cut and paste works every time.

i.e.
♂ Male Symbol ♂
♀ Female Symbol ♀

Oh off I go! That's copy and paste - right click after highlighting the character on the page. Or Ctrl C for copy, Ctrl V for paste. Save it in a word document for later and then lose the document - that's what I do!

Ah! I think they will work something like Android - double tap to select a word, drag the selection handles and press and hold for options (inc copy and paste)? Or something like that.
