I read the post by tim in 2009. Ms. Chuckles may be trying to establish her queenship. We just introduced 5 new pullets into the run. I had a talk with Ms. Chuckles about this, but she doesn't seem to understand the requirements of living in town. No crowing allowed. So, will she finally get over it, or must I find her a new home? She is 3 years old.

Hi GandpaK and welcome to the forum. Pretty unusual for a hen to crow unless her ovary is damaged and she has become a pseudo-cockerel. Give her time and plenty of cuddles. Let us know how you get on.
