Hi,
I was having a nose around about pekin colours online and came across some described as rare Crele/ Creole. Does anyone know what exact patterns/ colour a creole chicken would be as my cockerel looks suspiciously like one of the pictures I saw- and he's just a lemon cuckoo x blue! - There is a photo of mine here:
http://poultrykeeperforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=581 And he does have the barred pattern coming through.
Thanks in advance,
Nicky

Thanks girlracer, mine is more blue instead of the black and the barring is becoming more pronounced as he gets older- Will see if I can get a picture of him today that's a bit closer up!

its not yet a standard colour in the uk

i didn't realise lavender cuckoo isn't either
its a real shame as i have a beautiful lavender cuckoo male which i was considering showing

I haven't even heard of a lavender cuckoo- sounds lovely!- Can you show colours that aren't recognised in the AOC section? Thought that was what that was for? I've not got a clue about showing- am hoping to get into it a bit next year if I can hatch out some good birds! (and get my head around the rules!) :)

I have a picture of my creole pekin cockerel and hen on my website www.victoriaspoultry.co.uk is this helps

Here's my little Rambant, he's a Frizzle Creole Cock. He's got little chicken syndrome and wants to fight anyone he doesn't know.

Aaahhh, that's ma boy! :D

Thanks Sue, he's definitely not as black or barred as the ones on your site! - Osric- your cockerel looks amazing! Sunny tries to boss about the massive cream legbar cockerels that I have at the moment!- although actually they all get on remarkably well! Here's a photo of him- The barring has appeared as he matures- and he does have some barring on the buff which the photo doesn't show too well.

I'd love to have some more Pekins
Rambant and his missus are very close so unsure whether I should introduce anymore hens. I certainly don't want any extra chicken testosterone. He'd be battling all the time, I'm 17st bigger than him and he'll peck me if I don't give him his dinner quick enough!

Those seramas look nice, as well as the sablepoots and about 20 or 30 other breeds that I'd like.
