I have a LS male & red sussex female If I look at the chicken calculator do I put columbia in as his colour? bit confused now after reading the blue genetics link??

Hello, no, your l/s cock is "silver" and your red sussex "gold" genetically- if you cross them the other way around- i.e. any gold male x silver female the chicks will be sex-linked- the pullets gold and the cocks silver- doesn't work the other way.
