Can someone who knows about things like this please tell me-- one of my pekin frizzle boys -- are these TRUE crele/creole in colour or just a splodgy mess ???? I would say they have the correct red wingbar (???) , if they are not correct I will abandon project as its not proving easy ---dont be nice ,if the colours wrong I want to know!!! Thanks--Ros ------have to hope VP comes along as I know she knows about them!IMG00031-20101021-1408.jpg

Hi Ros
Looking nice, is a good shape but can not really tell if he is leggy or not from the picture.

Good points: Really good barring on hackle heathers, good golden tone throughout
Bad points: Little too much grey on back, but this may well change when he has his first malt.

Do you have anymore photos of him?

But: Ros is you don't want him I would certainally give him a new home :D

----Tried to post some grower pics ----tells me its too many pixels!!! I can upload from phone pics but not off camera sorry! Sue (or anyone) He can stay here no probs BUT if someone really nice wants him for colour/breeding they are welcome ,hes a year now, very fertile and a really easy little bird! Ros

Hi Ros.

Yes, unfortunately the forum software can't re-size images - so what's uploaded has to be 'served' and huge photos would take ages to load as well as taking most of the screen up.

You should be able to resize using most image software (even with Microsoft Paint), alternatively there is a really neat little gadget I use called Microsoft Image Resizer.

I've been meaning to put a sticky in the 'Photos' area of the forum to help people with this. In fact, I'm going to do that right now!

He's gorgeous by the way!

Tim

Reserved pending transport arrangements>still would like to know if he truely is crele or if Im not there yet! Ros

Hi Ros
Still working on John & John. To reply to your post above, Creole colour is very good although a little too much of a grey tone. If I was also to be picky the comb on the cockerel is to big and not uniform but over time and a corrective breeding programme could get some really nice offspring from him.

Hope this helps

Sue

Thanks Sue--and congrats on mod. post! His Dad has a huge comb . I wont put any pics of Dad on here , he is 'double gene' frizzled and is virtually naked even when hes not moulting! NOT a pretty sight !! Ros
