Cockerel making funny noises

Hi everyone,
Can someone please tell me why my cockerel of just over a year old clucks like a chicken.
He does crow and he is doing what a cockerel should do with the girls, but he also clucks like one of the girls, this might be normal, or it might be a little strange, but never having a cockerel before im a little confused.
He does not do this at any particular time just when he feels like it.
All the chicken are free range with Henry, and are very happy.

Cockerels have a wide range of noises Chicken Lodge. Ours cluck like hens when they have found food or are happy -like in a small corner or the soil bath. So sounds like he is perfectly normal.

Thank you so much for your replys, i have never had a cockerel before and i did being to wonder, what was going on.
