Chicks won't go into the hen house

Our hens have produced two chicks this year, which are now eight weeks old. They have been integrated into the main flock, but they haven't yet got the hang of going into the hen house at night (having previously been in a separate 'maternity' wing, a sectioned-off part of the main enclosure with its own small coop). We are currently having to catch them and put them in by hand, which is a real pain, as they move really fast!
How can we teach them to go into the hen house by themselves? I've tried leaving a trail of mealworms up the ramp, but the other chickens just come out and eat them (the mealworms, that is, not the chicks)!
Any suggestions?!

They're quite young to join the main flock at 8 weeks, partly because they're only just of an age to be off chick crumb, and should really be eating growers pellets until at least 18 weeks. Layers pellets contain a high level of calcium, to support frequent egg laying, which can be detrimental to kidney function and growth in such young birds. For this reason you might like to think about penning them separately for a while longer, with their own more suitable growers food to support steady growth. At 8 weeks they probably find it a bit scary to go into a dark coop with older birds, even if they appear integrated during the day when they have more space, the older ones can be bossy about letting letting young ones in, and also they may not have got the hang of how to get up on to the perches in the dark, so might have to sit in the floor, which isn't nice if someone bigger is pooing on you from above!
They don't need a perch for roosting at this stage and would probably be happier in the maternity wing for a while longer. By the end of October, when they're more fully grown, they can then join the flock and enjoy the cosy main coop in the usual way.
