Hi
I am an environmental education teacher. The centre works with 30 schools, but is based in the grounds of a high school.
I would like to get chickens for the centre, with the aim being for the pupils and teachers to set up a 'chicken club' to help look after them.
(I understand that looking after chickens is a big responsibility, so I am doing lots of research.)
I had assumed that we would need a weekend rota of people to let them in and out of the run & feed them.
The Omlet website states that as long as enough food is left they can be left in the run over the weekend. Is this correct?
Thank you!
