Well my last two current ex-batts are now nearly 4 1/2 and are still enjoying life (& feather pecking, which is why they're not being integrated with my new flock). It's I who've been across the rainbow bridge this week!

The photos are there now. They look a bit blurry but seem to get sharper if you click on them. For Rick's benefit, this is just below the Foxton flight on the Leicester line of the Grand Union canal.
