Howdy,

I was wondering if you could use coffee chaff (the remains at a coffee roasting plant) for chicken bedding? :) -Chicken Chaser

This sounds interesting, I've never heard of coffee chaff before. Whereabouts do you live? (ie, are you in the UK? ) it sounds a possibility, if its not too scented with coffee fumes - wouldn't want them all getting high on it!

well thats one way of waking them up   are you in the states by any chance ? as i have never heard of anything like this in our country :-)05

Howdy,

Yes, I live in the states. Do you think the fumes would hurt them (chickens) at all? :) -Chicken Chaser

tell you the truth i would not know isnt there any forums your side of the waters were people would know or have tried it ? i doubt there would be many fumes if what your talking about is the waste side of the product as i would think nearly everything would of been taken out interesting topic though , please keep us up to date if you find out :D

Howdy,

Thanks for the link, Margaid. By the way, here are three links for y'all over the big pond for coffee roasting plants (don't know if they're going to be very useful, hope they will though):
