Chick died suddenly

Hi i found one of my 14 day old pekin chicks this morning
wouldnt open her eyes or stand within an hour she was gone.
There was nothing wrong last night, still eating and drinking normally
Just a bit worried about my others now.
Any ideas?

Chicks do just die KTP for no apparent reason. Was there any fluid running from her beak when she died -Bronchitis, although a bit late as usually the first week? Were her poos OK -thinking coccidiosis but rather sudden; are you using an ACS chick crumb?

I assume heat etc was all ok? i.e. it hadn't strayed away from heat and got too cold?

They are all on the small holder chick crumb.
There was no discharge, and poos were ok. They have got the Brinsea eco chick brooder
on the second level, theyre in a small pen with the brooder in the one corner
I found her under it so i dont think she got too cold.
My other chicks seem ok

Sounds like something internal just didn't develop correctly. All the others should be absolutely fine. These things do happen KTP. Sometimes nature throws up a variation that just doesn't work.
